PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff Event — 09 Oct 2019

Please be advised that on Monday, October 7th, 2019, PG&E has announced a Public Safety Power Shutoff, or “PSPS” for Wednesday, October 9th, 2019. According to PG&E:

“Weather conditions, including potential fire risk, have been forecast that may impact electric service to portions of our service area. If a decision is made to turn off power, we expect to start turning off power for safety.

Outages [weather event plus restoration time] could last longer than 48 hours. For planning purposes, PG&E suggests customers prepare for outages that could last several days.”

If your voice service is provided by Utility Telecom, please know that in most cases, our Customer Service team will be able to assist you in setting up call forwarding or call routing for your business to prepare for the potential outage.

To best plan accordingly, please make arrangements with us prior to the announced outage date if at all possible. To serve you best, please inform us of the phone number associated with the account that you would like forwarded and if you would like to have that number forwarded to voicemail or to another number.
