Over the weekend, Utility Telecom had a great time as the Presenting Sponsors of StocktonCon Winter 2020. The event took place on Sunday, January 19th at the Stockton Arena in Stockton, California.
The goal of StocktonCon is to raise awareness of outstanding artists in the San Joaquin Valley area and to give attendees the chance to experience a wide variety of pop culture.
This event hosted more than 100 exhibitors including local artists, merchants, and special celebrity guests. Some celebrity guests that attended were Tatiyana Ali from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, professional wrestler Raven, and Larry Hankin from the hit series Breaking Bad.
Attendees at StocktonCon Winter this year had a day full of activities including meeting special guests, watching live amateur wrestling, and participating in cosplay contests. The event even hosted a costume contest where 50 participants competed for the grand prize of $150.
During the event, the Utility Telecom team hosted free games at our Star Wars themed booth. Attendees that stopped by our booth could enter into our raffle for a chance to win our first place gift basket valued at $100, or our second place gift basket valued at $50. The rules were simple; like us on Facebook and fill out a raffle ticket for a chance to win. Our first place gift prize even had a Star Wars Toy Droid that participants could win. Guest could also spin the wheel for a chance to win an instant prize at our booth. Our spin the wheel prizes included candy bars, Star Wars pins, Star Wars stickers, event posters or branded Utility Telecom goodies.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us at this event that continues to help enrich the community. A portion of the proceeds helped raise awareness and funds for United Way of San Joaquin County and other local charities.
